I live in a small village by the sea, about an hour outside Edinburgh. I studied at Edinburgh College of Art, graduating in 2013 with my MFA in Illustration. I now teach part time at the college and work freelance from my wee home studio. The beautiful landscapes and iconic buildings of the cities, towns and islands around Scotland inspire much of my work. My work is often very detailed and intricate, a mixture of hand-drawing and printmaking methods. I also illustrate for children's books and am fascinated by the power of images to communicate stories to people of all ages.
